Sunday Preview

June 17, 2018

Fathers and role models have a big influence on the lives of those they mentor.

The Boy Scouts impart many good values that have a positive impact on the lives of many.

It all begins with planting seeds.

The seeds planted do not need to be big to do big things.

We may not even see the seeds take root and grow.

But we remain courageous and have faith that one day they will grow into something great.

Father Jim’s Daily Reflection

June 18, 2018

Monday

(Matthew 5:41) Jesus said, “Should anyone press you into service for one mile, go with him for two miles.” Who are you willing to go the extra mile for? Jesus asks us to do it for anyone. Lord, give us the willingness and the strength to go the extra mile for those who need it. For in doing so we will be brought one mile closer to heaven.

Online Giving

When we give God our lives, that includes our time, talent and treasure.

According to Jesus, the places and people we give our treasure to are the keepers of our heart and the objects of our affection.

“For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” –  Matthew 6:21 (NAB)

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple.  If you do, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, I will open the windows of heaven for you.  I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it!  Put me to the test!”  –  Malachi 3:10 (NLT)
