Train the young in the way they should go; even when old, they will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

541 Youth Structure
541 Youth has a special Ministry Theme for each month. This Theme is divided into four areas of focus that help ensure a holistic ministry to our youth.
Each of these areas of focus have a Wednesday night dedicated to it.
All meals and activities are paid for by Holy Communion Church.
On months that have five Wednesdays 541 Youth usually has an Off-Week.
An email is sent at the beginning of each month to our parents and guardians listing the activities. Texts are sent each week with updates and reminders.

weekly Focus
LEARN THE WAY
Learn The Way is our Intellectual Focus. On Week 1 we gather at Holy Communion Church for dinner, fellowship and games. We then move into the sanctuary for praise, worship and a lesson in the Bible from the current month’s theme followed by small group discussions.

All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

CARE & PRAY
Care & Pray is our Emotional Focus. On Week 2 we gather at Holy Communion Church for dinner, fellowship and games. We then move into the sanctuary to dive deeper into the previous week’s lesson and enter into a time of prayer in small groups for the upcoming service project focusing on the current month’s theme.

DO & SAY
Do & Say is our Physical Focus. On Week 3 we gather at the location of the service project which may be located somewhere in the community or at the church depending on the nature of the project. This is where we combine real world action with teaching and prayer.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

PRAISE & PLAY
Praise & Play is our Spiritual Focus. On Week 4, having learned, prayed and engaged in our theme, we use this time to reflect, rejoice and celebrate what we have accomplished during the month.
We usually meet somewhere in the community for a night of FUN! This could be K1 Racing, Lava Lanes, Sun Mountain Fun Center, Trampoline Zone, Bend Rock Gym, Pickle Ball, hiking at Smith Rock, or floating the Deschutes River!
