541 Youth

We are a faith community guided by the love of Jesus Christ to nurture the hearts of young people. Striving to lead the youth by example our ongoing
Spiritual Formation process incorporates Worship, Fellowship, Fun, Scripture, Prayer, and Works of Mercy.
Train the young in the way they should go; even when old, they will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

541 Youth Structure

541 Youth has a special Ministry Theme for each month. This Theme is divided into four areas of focus that help ensure a holistic ministry to our youth.
Each of these areas of focus have a Wednesday night dedicated to it.
All meals and activities are paid for by Holy Communion Church.
On months that have five Wednesdays 541 Youth usually has an Off-Week.
An email is sent at the beginning of each month to our parents and guardians listing the activities. Texts are sent each week with updates and reminders.

weekly Focus

Learn The Way is our Intellectual Focus. On Week 1 we gather for dinner, games and fellowship. We then move to our lesson orientation followed by small groups.
Each small group has age appropriate Bible study, discussion, and verse memorization centered around our monthly theme.
All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Care And Pray is our Emotional Focus. On Week 2 we gather for dinner, games and fellowship. We have Praise & Worship and enjoy a special speaker who dives deeper into our monthly theme, followed by prayer time in small groups for family, church, and community with focus on the upcoming service project.
Do And Say is our Physical Focus. On Week 3 we gather at the location of the service project which may be located somewhere in the community or at the church depending on the nature of the project. This is where we combine real world action with teaching and prayer.
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
(1 Timothy 4:12)
Praise And Play is our Spiritual Focus. On Week 4, having learned, prayed and engaged in our theme, we use this time to reflect, rejoice and celebrate what we have accomplished during the month.
We usually meet somewhere in the community for a night of FUN! This could be K1 Racing, Lava Lanes, Sun Mountain Fun Center, Trampoline Zone, Bend Rock Gym, Pickle Ball, hiking at Smith Rock, or floating the Deschutes River!
