Father Jim’s Daily Reflection
Father Jim Radloff
Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(James 1:12) “Blessed is he who perseveres in temptation, for when he has been proven he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.”
In praying the Lord’s Prayer, “When we say ‘lead us not into temptation’ we are asking God not to allow us to take the path that leads to sin. This petition implores the Spirit of discernment and strength; it requests the grace of vigilance and final perseverance.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 2863)
