Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. (Proverbs 3:28) “Say not to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give,’ when you can give at once.” These petty acts of power one exerts over another does not bring respect or admiration, but only disdain. Give immediately when you can, whatever you can, especially of yourself, and the love you will receive in return is greater than any power.
