Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER/SUNDAY OF DIVINE MERCY

(Acts 4:33) “With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all.” A quote from The Threat of Life by Walter Brueggemann, “Can you permit in your horizon new healing power, new surging possibility, new gestures to the lame, new ways of power in an armed, fearful world, new risk, new life, leaping, dancing, singing, praising the power beyond all our controlled powers?”
