(Mark 9:38) John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us.” In His response Jesus challenges us to accept the reality that the Lord even works through those who may not be card-carrying members of any particular religious organization.
