Sunday Preview

January 24, 2021

THIS WEEKEND WITH FATHER JIM

COME TO JESUS
A TIME OF FULFILLMENT

He sank the boat he was working on just to kill the captain?

Wasn’t Jonah sinking the boat to avoid doing what he should be doing?

It was essential for Jonah to do what God wanted him to do.

A huge population needed to hear what Jonah had to say to be saved.

A huge population needs to hear what Christians have to say before it is too late.

The time is running out … the boat is sinking.

The Good News is that this is the time of fulfillment!

The Kingdom of God is at hand!

Christian witness is needed to help people see It and start living It.

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY AT 9 AM
VIA LIVE STREAM!

FAITH FORMATION DISCUSSION

How can coming to the Lord help us find real fulfillment?

In what ways could small fulfillments just be sins in disguise?

How can turning to the Lord help us turn from our sins?

How would believing in the Gospel help us turn our lives around?

What would our lives be like if we lived them in the Kingdom of God?

In what ways is the Kingdom of God already at hand?

In what ways is it already the time of fulfillment?

Father Jim’s Daily Reflection

October 29, 2020

(Ephesians 6:10-11) “Draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the Devil.”

Unfortunately, the experience of Evil is present in too many of our lives. But we don’t have to fight this battle alone. The Lord equips us with what we need to be protected from Evil and then gives us the strength to fight it.

Online Giving

When we give God our lives, that includes our time, talent and treasure.

According to Jesus, the places and people we give our treasure to are the keepers of our heart and the objects of our affection.

“For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” –  Matthew 6:21 (NAB)

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple.  If you do, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, I will open the windows of heaven for you.  I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it!  Put me to the test!”  –  Malachi 3:10 (NLT)
