(Proverbs 3:28) “Say not to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give,’ when you can give at once.” These petty acts of power one exerts over another does not bring respect or admiration, but only disdain. Give immediately when you can, whatever you can, especially of yourself, and the love you will receive in return is greater than any power.
