Friday of the Passion of the Lord (John 19:26-27) As Jesus hung on the cross He saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved and He said to the disciple “Behold your mother.” When evil tried to silence Love, Love proved Himself at the end of indescribable suffering by thinking about the wellbeing of others. If only I would do the same.
