THE BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST
(Mark 14:23-24) “Jesus took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, ‘This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many.’”
When people make a covenant in the Bible, they are joined together and identified with each other, making two into one. Jesus establish His everlasting covenant to bring us closer to Him, for us to become one with Him, and for Him to become one with us. We really are what we eat when we share in Holy Communion.
