Early Life and Education
Bishop Jim Radloff was born and raised in the greater Chicago, Illinois area. He pursued his religious education at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.

Priesthood and Service in the Diocese of Baker
In 1993, Bishop Jim was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in the Diocese of Baker by Bishop Thomas Connolly. Over the next two decades, from 1993 to 2013, he was known as Father Jim and served as pastor for several parishes throughout Central Oregon. He also held the position of Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Baker during this time.

Formation of Holy Communion Independent Catholic Church
In 2014, Bishop Jim transitioned out of the Roman Catholic Church. He played a key role in establishing Holy Communion Independent Catholic Church in Bend, Oregon.
 
Consecration as Bishop
On November 12, 2021, Father Jim was consecrated as a bishop at Holy Communion Church by Bishop Louis Serra of the Evangelical Catholic Church.

Retirement and Current Role
As of January 1, 2026, Bishop Jim has retired as pastor of Holy Communion Church. He continues to serve the community as a Bishop in residence, offering his guidance and support where needed.
