Father David Collette

 

David Collette has a diverse life experience. He has been an Airborne Infantry Rifleman in the army, a landscaper, a Director of Youth and Music Ministries for eight years, Pastor to Youth and Students for four years, and Senior Pastor simultaneously of two churches in rural Mississippi for two years. In addition, David is a godly man, a committed husband, and father of four.

David received an Honorable Discharge and the Good Conduct Medal from the Army. He graduated with honors from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Tennessee Temple University, and Asbury Theological Seminary. As well, he earned a Master of Divinity Degree, plus PhD work on Bible Exposition. So, he is honorable as well as smart. His popular spiritual presence on social media verifies he is a deeply prayerful man who can make Christianity practical and relevant.
 
Rev. David moved with his family to Bend, Oregon in October of 2021 and became Deacon David, beginning the year-long process to transition from Deacon to Priest.
