Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. (Philippians 2:5-6) “Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.” It’s good to be told when we might be in need of an attitude adjustment. A friend told me once, “Look, I love you, but I don’t worship you.” Yea, I don’t make a good god. Better to stick with telling others that God is good.
