Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

Thursday

(Acts 5:27-29) The high priest said, “We gave you strict orders to stop teaching in that name.” . . . But Peter and the apostles said in reply, “We must obey God rather than men.” There are always people who would like to tell us how we should live our lives. Many are motivated by their love for us . . . some not. That is why it is important to take time in prayer to get to know what God wants.
