Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. (Matthew 16:23) Jesus said to Peter, “You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.”
You mean we have the ability to think as God does, to think beyond the limitations of our humanity? Yes, we do, when we think like Jesus did when he shared in our humanity. So spend time some getting to know His thoughts by studying His words and actions as found in the Gospels.
