Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(1 Samuel 18:8-9) “Saul was very angry and resentful of the song, for he thought: ‘They give David tens of thousands, but only thousands to me. All that remains for him is the kingship.’ And from that day on, Saul was jealous of David.”

Lord, help us to recognize that what we already have is enough when we have You. This way greed, envy and jealousy will not corrupt the Love already present in our lives.
