Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(Acts 3:11-12) As the crippled man who had been cured clung to Peter and John, all the people hurried in amazement toward them. Peter said, “Why are you amazed at this, and why do you look so intently at us as if we had made him walk by our own power or piety?”

It is not because of a person’s own power or piety that their prayers are answered. It is faith in the power of the Lord that brings about miracles.
