Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. (Ephesians 6:10-11) “Draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the Devil.”
Unfortunately, the experience of Evil is present in too many of our lives. But we don’t have to fight this battle alone. The Lord equips us with what we need to be protected from Evil and then gives us the strength to fight it.
