Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
(Romans 15:4) “Whatever was written previously was written for our instruction, that by endurance and by the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”

Waiting. What is the best way to spend our time while waiting? Does worrying bring us any peace? How about hoping? Hope gives us the encouragement to endure . . . waiting.
