Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(Mark 4:39-40) Jesus “rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ The wind ceased and there was great calm. Then he asked them, ‘Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?'”

When experiencing fear that comes from the terrifying storms that blow into our lives, recognize this fear, not as a lack of faith, but as a reminder to cry out to the Lord in faith, believing that He can bring calm during our time of need. [P.S. Today may the Lord bless fathers and all who show a father’s love.]
