Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

Monday of Holy Week

(Isaiah 42:1,3) “Here is my servant . . . with whom I am pleased. . . . A bruised reed he shall not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench.”

This is the type of person that pleases the Lord: one who treats the vulnerable and hurting with gentleness and compassion. Lord, make me this type of servant for others to help keep their flame alive.
