Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(Mark 4:37, 39) “A violent squall came up. . . Jesus . . . rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ The wind ceased and there was great calm.”

Jesus, we need You, now, to still the storms of violence and unrest that assail our world; to cease the storms of suffering and illness plaguing our family and friends; to quiet the storms of our minds and hearts so that we may experience great calm.
