Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

TWENTY-FOURTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

(James 2:14,17) “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? . . . Faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” Faith is not something that can be selfishly hoarded for only some personal benefit. Real faith is found through a life that benefits others.
