Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(Tobit 7:17) She wiped away the tears and Sarah’s mother said, “Be brave, my daughter. May the Lord grant you joy in place of your grief. Courage, my daughter.”

Sarah had seven husbands die on their wedding night. The power of prayer made her eighth a success. My prayer: That the Lord may grant us joy in place of our grief.
