Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. SAINT MARY MAGDALENE
(John 20:2) “Mary Magdalene ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, ‘They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they put him.’”
Sometimes it seems as if Jesus has been taken from us by how some people portray Him. But He cannot be taken from us. Listen for Him calling your name and turn from the darkness of the tomb to see Him right beside you.
