Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
(Luke 1:41-42) When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among woman, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”

Let us join with Elizabeth and cry out with a loud voice how blessed is Mary that she said yes to receiving the Lord into her life in a very real way. May Mary’s yes inspire us to also say yes to receiving the Lord into our lives.
