Father Jim’s Daily Reflection

Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(2 Corinthians 5:17) “Whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.”

What matters is not so much who we were, but who we have become now that Christ is a part of our lives. Let us put away the old images we have of ourselves and others, and focus on who we have become: new creations!
