Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. THIRTY-THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
(2 Thessalonians 3:10) “In fact, when we were with you, we instructed you that if anyone was unwilling to work, neither should that one eat.”
Everyone is created by God for a purpose. To not work to develop that purpose is to starve oneself of the fulfillment living that purpose can bring and will even starve others who would benefit from this purpose being lived out.
