Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

TWENTY-SIXTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
(1 Timothy 6:11) “Pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.”

Scripture helps me to evaluate how well I am progressing in becoming the person God wants me to be. So today I will strive to treat people with patience and gentleness, even though they don’t seem to know how to drive on wet roads.
