Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(Matthew 14:9-10) “The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and the guests who were present, . . . he had John beheaded in prison.”

Sad when our boasting causes harm to others. Sad how our concern over what others think of us can cause us to do what we know is wrong. May we take the time to pray before we speak. May our concern over what God thinks of us guide all our actions.
