Father Jim’s Daily Reflection

Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

Monday

(Matthew 25:40) Jesus said, “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers or sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Do you want to see Jesus this Lent? Then look into the eyes of someone who is poor, hungry, homeless, sick, or imprisoned. Look into the eyes of a friend or family member who is suffering in some way. Look long enough until you end up treating this person as you would treat the Lord. That is how you will see Jesus.
