Father Jim’s Daily Reflection

Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

Thursday
(Luke 15:1-2) “The tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to listen to Jesus, but the Pharisees and scribes began to complain, saying, ‘This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.'” Wasn’t this a good thing that the very people who needed to hear what Jesus had to say were coming to listen to him? But the religious leaders were complaining? And does this still seem to be happening today? Lord, help us to encourage, not discourage, ALL people to come to You, including ourselves.
