Father Jim’s Daily Reflection

Father Jim Radloff

Up at 4:30 am each day for prayer, Father Jim soon discovered that others were also seeking to start their day with a short inspirational quote from the Bible. So taking advantage of Social Media, he began sharing with others the fruits of his early morning prayer amongst Sacred Scriptures. Using Lectio Divina with the daily readings from the Catholic Mass, Father Jim was now presenting a reflection that could help people throughout their day. We are happy to share these thoughts with you.

(Hebrews 10:25) “We should not stay away from our assembly, as is the custom of some, but encourage one another.”

When I hear someone say they don’t go to church because they don’t get anything out of it, I am probably listening to a person who only thinks of themselves. I pray that someone will be there for them in their time of need, because that is one reason I go to church . . . to be there for others in their time of need . . . and then others have been there for me in my time of need.
