THIS WEEKEND WITH FATHER JIM
COME TO JESUS
BE ASTONISHED
Think of people who have been an inspiration to you.
Although their lives were real they touched your heart.
Through the lives they lived they helped you to be a better person.
In what ways does my life help others to live better lives?
Jesus can help.
Jesus can inspire us to inspire others.
JOIN US THIS SUNDAY AT 9 AM
VIA LIVE STREAM!
FAITH FORMATION DISCUSSION
Who are some preachers who have inspired us?
In what ways has their preaching uplifted us?
What kind of preachers have left us feeling flat?
What is the difference between inspiring and the uninspiring preachers?
In what ways was Jesus no ordinary preacher?
What was the power behind the preaching of Jesus?
In what ways can actions preach better than any words?

Father Jim’s Daily Reflection
March 1, 2018
Thursday
(Jeremiah 17:7-8) “Blessed are those who trust in the LORD; whose hope is the LORD. They are like a tree planted beside the waters that stretch out its roots to the stream: It does not fear heat when it comes, its leaves stay green; in the year of drought it shows no distress, but still produces fruit.”
This Lent stretch out your roots of faith to the life-giving waters of the Lord’s grace to be sustained and even thrive in times of distress.

Online Giving
When we give God our lives, that includes our time, talent and treasure.
According to Jesus, the places and people we give our treasure to are the keepers of our heart and the objects of our affection.
“For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” – Matthew 6:21 (NAB)
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” – Malachi 3:10 (NLT)
